We value your time and make every effort to stay on schedule. We have carefully designed an accurate scheduling system that serves our patients, their families, and expedites treatment. While we have invested a lot of consideration in our appointment system so that we may give you the best orthodontic experience, it does require cooperation between our office and our patients. We have some points below that will help new patients become acquainted with our appointment schedule:
- Please help us by arriving on-time for your appointment. If you are late, it will be necessary to reschedule your appointment.
- Longer appointments are scheduled only in the morning. By doing this, we can see the maximum number of patients in the afternoon.
- Once appliances are placed, regular adjustment appointments will usually be once every 6-8 weeks, the doctor will discuss the need for more or less frequent appointments.
- In order to be fair to all patients, we alternate "prime time" and "non-prime time" appointments. Prime time is early morning, later afternoon or school holidays. If you prefer to come during our quieter time (after 10:00 am and prior to lunch), we will be happy to try to accommodate you.
- Reappointment time is just before lunch or just after lunch, therefore missed appointments will be reappointed during school hours. We do our best to see patients as much as possible before or after school, but there are times that they will miss school.
- Chronic missed appointments extend treatment time.
- In the case of emergencies such as pain, swelling or bleeding, we will arrange a "work-in" appointment. Most of this time is just prior to lunch time, so please call as soon as you are aware there is a problem.
- Please retain your appointment ticket. Our "call system" can be interrupted by phone line repair or failed electricity due to storms. Thank you very much for your understanding and your cooperation.
